Greenville, KY

Harvested several varieties of Goldenrod, Winged Sumac, Hoary Mountain Mint, and Elderberries to dry.

In the ginger bed I sowed Alabama Blue Collards and Purple Top White Globe Turnips. Cleared space for a new bed for the garlic (still never found them) and other plants that can be companion planted with them.

Dispersed some Virginia Mountain Mint seeds on western edge of northern brush pile. Looks like the rain we got last weekend along with cooler weather did not happen here.

The Aronias need to be moved this Fall to a new location. May or may not harvest peanuts this year.

Harvested Joe‐Pye Weed seed heads. Added a rock to barren area to be used in the rock garden.

Harvested Goldenrod and Winged Sumac to freeze. There are not enough Elderberries to harvest to freeze, and this will be the last harvest of Winged Sumac for this year.

Covered new potatoes with more soil.
