Dropped off Adams’ Elderberry cuttings (in pot) and two Flowering Dogwoods to be transplated later. It showered in AM before I came. Found two of the plants from Ironweed Nursery that can still be transplanted but only one has a label. At Mom Bea’s house I took cuttings from both Concord Grape vines. Looked for rose hips on southern wild roses but found none...there are however a lot of Sumac berries.

Broadcasted Whorled Milkweed and Common Milkweed seeds around the southern brush pile. In large barren area I emptied the bags of BD Barrel Compost, Humus Compost, and BD 500. Also broadcasted Soil Builder Peas/Oats Cover Crop in the barren area. Near the eastern edge (wet areas) I broadcasted Button Bush, Swamp Milkweed, and False Indigo Bush (before the second storm).

Harvested Shagbark Hickory from one tree (found two other Hickory trees but do not know for sure if Shagbark). Found a few rose hips in the northern brush pile. Have a lot of Japanese Honeysuckle to remove (look into grants for it). Found more Eastern Redcedar seedlings.
