I brought food for the compost including the mushrooms that I had purchased to be planted last year (Reishi, Shitake, and Maitake). I cleared a path around the Elderberry bush and made cuttings. I checked on the blueberries and found the wild black raspberries. I harvested more Sumac (Dwarf/Winged and Smooth) berries and leaves, maple (not sure of variety) leaves, and Goldenrod flowers for natural dye kits; and Chinese Chestnuts. Broadcasted Ginseng seeds and Goldenseal rhizomes in northern forest—these are also from last year and may be too dry to do anything. I put out American Persimmon seeds and Calendula flowers (both from Salamander Springs Farm).
