The #209 Mix was sown in barren/eroded areas. To the hole that was dug on the 8th, banana peels, apple cores, and more cardboard was added along with urine. The hole was covered up with soil that was removed. Vermiculite was added to the soil and blended. Sod with grass and other roots were placed upside down on the bottom layer. The rest of the soil on the sides of the hole was added to the mound. English Lavender, Spotted Bee Balm, Boneset, Cilantro, Jacob’s Cattle Bush Beans (seeds were put in mouth before sowing), Nasturtium, Echinacea Purpurea, Garden Sage, Borage, Pacific Beauty Calendula Mix, Sweet Marjoram, Carolina Black Peanut (seeds were put in mouth before sowing), Carwile’s Virginia Peanut, Thyme, Tennessee Red Valencia Peanut, Lemon Balm, and saved seed from 2014 Bouquet Dill and Lemon (with also possibly Cinnamon) Basil were sown on the mound. As a border to the North, White Sunflower was sown. Bright Jewels Cactus Flowered Zinnias were sown in the forest to the north of the mound.
In the western forest area the following were broadcasted: White Wild Indigo, Blue False Indigo, Asure Blue Sage, Nodding Onion, Lemon Mint, and River Oats.
Early Goldenrod was sown in the forest edge on all sides.
To the East of the mound the blackberry and raspberry were transplanted. A tag was added to the Blackberry. The tag for raspberry was lost and so it has not been added yet.
The tobacco sticks that had fallen were picked up and hammered back into the ground. The sticks that were broken were replaced and the orange tape was put back on an as needed basis.
