I transplanted white daffodils throughout the forest garden (on both sides). I noticed deer ticks on me across the ditch, also saw deer feces. I noticed damage to the White Ash, River Birch, and 2 unknown trees.

Near the northern forest edge, we dug and cleared out a hole about 2 feet wide, 4 feet long, and a foot or more deep to create a mound culture or hügelkultur. I added brush from the pile, daffodil greens, cardboard from the smokehouse, white cotton clothes, fresh cuttings of plants from the brush pile, and decaying wood from the forest. I took some of the removed clods of sod and added to a large erosion spot next to the brush pile.
