Greenville, KY

Went on a walk about and checked on our babies. The turmeric is looking good but the ginger looked like it was suffering. I went to where I had transplanted the Goldenseal but the area is now covered by a native cane. Looked at the Goldenrod and there are not enough for me to harvest to do jelly or dried teas. The rose hips are not ripe yet and it will be more time until they are ready to harvest.

Harvested Shagbark Hickory nuts and saw some bark that has already fallen off. Found a Persimmon with fruit on it but the fruit was not ripe. And gathered Black Walnuts and Flowering Dogwood fruit/seeds.
