I did some cleaning of the brush pile closest to the forest garden and removed trash that someone or a group of people threw in it. Then I went into the forest and started to prune and remove branches from existing trees to allow more sunlight to enter. I cut down and removed small to medium evergreen trees and put deciduous trees in between and near evergreens for decomposing—hopefully it will allow for other vegetation to grow in those areas.

Around the forest edge on the southern and northern end I planted Spotted Bee Balm and Perplexed Tick Trefoil.
